This policy explains what we do with the personal information you give us when you book a table at Little Mouse.
Who we are
Little Mouse Ltd ("we", "us") runs the cheese shop and wine bar at 212A Selhurst Road, London SE25 6XU. We are the data controller for the information you provide when booking. You can reach us at shop@littlemousecheese.com. Company number 13102712.
What we collect
When you book, we collect:
- your name, email address and phone number
- your booking details: date, time, party size, seating preference and how long you would like the table
- anything you choose to tell us in the booking, such as dietary requirements, special requests or the occasion
- your card details, which are collected and held securely by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number ourselves.
- whether you have chosen to hear from us by email
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To manage your booking and send you confirmations, reminders and any changes. This is necessary to provide the booking you asked for.
- To hold your card and, if necessary, take a no-show charge in line with our booking terms. Our basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the business against no-shows, together with performing our agreement with you.
- To send you news and offers by email, only if you have opted in. Our basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the booking system:
- Stripe, to handle card details and payments
- Resend, to send booking emails
- our booking platform provider, which stores the booking data securely on our behalf
These providers only process your information on our instructions. Some may process data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place to protect it. We do not sell your information to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep your booking information for up to 24 months. Where a booking involved a payment, such as a no-show charge, we keep the transaction record for 6 years to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Marketing preferences are kept until you ask us to stop.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, to have it deleted, to object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent to marketing at any time. To do any of these, email shop@littlemousecheese.com.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
The booking site uses only the cookies needed to make it work, such as keeping your booking session running. If we add analytics or marketing cookies in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
